myAnswers VBS offers digital resources to automate management procesess for Church VBS Directors. Rotations contain the order teams of kids will spend paticipating in specific activities, including playing games, making crafts, eating snacks, or singing songs.
Larger churches need multiple rotations running at the same time, so that station leaders manage less children.
My Role:
Kylie Sutton, age 35, is a stay at home mom for 2 kids. She manages VBS in the summer of 2024 for her church of approximately 5,000 members, with 600 registered children.
One rotation of crafts, games, music, and snacks divides her teams into 150 kids, but that's too many for teachers to manage. Kylie needs to create more rotations so that there are less kids per team.
First, a userflow is suggested to determine the most optimal route for an intuitive user experience. In addition, surveys are sent to users to best identify the problem at hand, to ease users with 500+ registered kids.
A group of users were brought in to create a new rotation.
